These are from a day trip into Kingston while on vacation. After driving through Prince Edward County, and across the Glenora Ferry, we spent the afternoon wandering around the downtown core admiring all the old, historic buildings.

After a long day of taking photos, we were sitting on my parents back porch having a drink. In the distance we could see a thunderstorm rolling through. I couldn't resist getting the camera out again and capturing the lightning strikes.
Some sunset shots from Presqui'ile, both from the beach and the marsh boardwalk. I rained quite a bit when we were there and on a hike we could see the storm coming in from across Lake Ontario.
I went camping with my girlfriend at Presqu'ile Provincial Park (a great location, I would highly recommend it and look forward to returning next year). They have different nature trails for hiking including a boardwalk through a marsh. These are some of the plants and animals we saw. There are also a few landscapes and panoramas - to be posted in the next couple of days.
My girlfriend and I recently visited my parents in Prince Edward County. We spent an afternoon touring around visiting wineries, a cider house, a couple of provincial parks and finished off with a spectacular sunset at North Beach. I had my first chance for a couple of panorama shots - two photographs 'stitched' together in Photoshop.
DEVO played this past Sunday at the Sound of Music festival. One of the best shows I have seen (despite the lead singer losing his voice by the third song) . They truly looked like they were having fun on stage even though they must have performed these songs countless times. I saw three young kids (7-8 years old) in the crowd wearing the signature DEVO hats and singing along to the music.
I saw Bedouin Soundclash Thursday night at Burlington's Sound of Music festival. Quite different from when I used to see them play Wilfs, the campus pub at WLU. They put on a fantastic show...great band to see live if you get a chance.
I had a meeting at the University of Toronto last week. After I was finished I took the opportunity to wander around the campus (including Philosopher's Walk) and shoot some of the architecture. There are two shots that I couldn't decide if I preferred the colour or sepia so I've included both. (Comments always welcomed!) Colour or sepia?
The only way to celebrate a monarch that has been dead for over a century is to set off high explosives. Mohawk Raceway had fireworks over the May 24th holiday weekend.
